Harborx Stops Its Operations as a Forex Broker
Harborx will stop operating as a forex broker on February 16, 2018. All current accounts will be closed, and the clients’ funds will be refunded accordingly as the company starts its evolution into a new cutting-edge platform. If you have an open account with Harborx, we recommend that you close all your open trades and place a withdrawal request before February 9, 2018.
We appreciate the love and support our traders have given us over the years and aim to make the closing of accounts and refunds as smooth as possible. Please read the FAQs below to find answers to your questions.
Is Harborx closing?
Yes. Harborx the way we know it will stop operating on February 16, 2018. The brand and the platform will evolve and may reemerge in the future, however, all current Harborx accounts will be closed by February 9, 2018.
I’m a Harborx client. What should I do?
We recommend that you close all your open trades and place withdrawal request before February 9 if you have withdrawable funds in your account (your deposited funds, trading profit or Leaderboard prizes). Your withdrawal request will be processed within 1 business day, and the funds will be sent to your account. If you don’t place a withdrawal request before February 9, your deposited funds will be refunded through your original payment method between the 12 and 16 of February.
Can I withdraw my trading profits?
Yes, you will be able to withdraw your trading profits, along with your deposited funds and Leaderboard prizes. Please refer to the Withdrawal Terms and Conditions within the app. To have your profits sent to you, please email email@example.com and provide your Skrill account details.
What happens if I don’t close my trades before February 9?
Your open trades will be automatically closed on Friday, February 9, 2018, at midnight, when the markets close for the weekend. After that date, no further account activity will be possible.
What happens if I don’t place a withdrawal request before February 9?
If you have withdrawable funds in your account, however, have not placed a withdrawal request, only your deposited funds will be refunded between the 12 and 16 of February.
What happens if I don’t request withdraw my trading profits before February 16?
If you don’t place a withdrawal request or contact support before February 9, your trading profits will be forfeited. The deposited funds, however, will be refunded through your original payment method before February 16.
Can I still register for an account with Harborx?
Unfortunately, new registrations are no longer accepted from February 1, 2018.
Can I make a deposit?
No. Harborx is no longer accepting deposits.
Can I still trade in February?
You will only be able to trade until February 9, 2018. After that date, you will not be able to access your account.
Can I still refer friends and claim referral bonuses?
As we no longer accept new registrations, you cannot refer friends and receive referral bonuses.
Will the Leaderboard competition continue?
All trading accounts will be suspended from trading starting from February 9, therefore you will no longer be able to participate in the weekly Leaderboard competition.
What will happen with my verification documents that I already submitted?
No verification will take place after February 1, 2018, however, all your information will be handled responsibly according to the regulations to ensure the security of your personal data.
